Chen Xia and Mei Ling from Western Australia. Yang Gengwu and Lin You represent Chinese in Queensland. The conference is chaired by Liu Ruxing. Liu suggests three points for the conference to discuss: immigration restriction in Australia, ban of opium smoking, and renewed immigration policy in America. The conference has also discussed other matters such as regular communications between Chinese communities throughout Australia. |
